To streamline the Google integration workflows, the Location Controls sheet has been updated to include additional filters, controls, and data points.
Local listing management for large brands is the art and science of making certain that every detail of every location is perfect across listing sources. Continuous updates range from desired changes (new locations, adding images, setting holiday hours, including new services, etc.) to fighting for control (suggested listing edits, closed stores, inappropriate images, suspensions, duplicate listings, etc.).
You can access the enhanced interface by going to Integrations > Google and then clicking on the Location Control button in the upper right corner. This will trigger a screen takeover (image below) that shows the full Integration (Int.) of each Google Business Profile listing.
Linked, as represented by the green chain link icon, indicates that the listing is full integrated with the LocalClarity platform as of the Sync Date presented. A listing is marked as Detached when Google indicates that the listing is no longer available to control via the connected Google account.
Within the next couple of week we will be releasing several new reporting and control elements designed to help even the largest of accounts more easily confirm their optimized local search presence.
We're thrilled to announce that LocalClarity is now pushing your business location data to Apple Business Connect.
In recent years, Apple has made a push to make Apple Business Connect a rival in the space to Google Business Profile. Clients have been asking for Apple Business Connect for some time, and we have recently completed the first stage of the integration process.
We are now "translating" Google data to make it fit within Apple's API structure. This allows us to push existing client data seamlessly over to Apple Business Connect, if the client chooses to do so. The platform then maps their Apple locations to their Google locations to help maintain data integrity across the board.
You can see if your locations are being pushed to Apple from the Manage Locations module.
We are methodically working through the entire custom list to publish the data to extend the breadth of your local discovery into the Apple Maps ecosystem.
We are committed to giving Users more control over their Apple Business Connect connection. As Apple continues to evolve it's product, we will be looking to be adapt every step of the way.
To enhance platform-driven email delivery and comply with new Google delivery requirements, we have made a number of changes in this maintenance release.
The LocalClarity platform triggers numerous emails to client, from the very first verification email to real-time notices to scheduled reports. Google and Yahoo have recently spearheaded a number of email delivery requirements. This maintenance update assures that LocalClarity now complies with all industry best practices.
Steps have been taken to validate all LocalClarity and all white-label sending domains email records. You can see the details shared by Google.
We will continue to make strides to ensure all platform emails are delivered as intended. New processes are being built into the platform that provide the business team with greater visibility to platform generated email deliverability.
Greater support for emojis and special characters is being incorporate into bulk Posts workflows.
In Excel, different file formats translate text according to the format. This includes symbols such as emojis, but also symbols used in different languages. Previously, the bulk Post file format was a standard CSV, which made using emojis or languages such as Portuguese, Korean, or Turkish, much more difficult.
We have now changed the file default to be UTF-8. Users can include emojis or create bulk posts in virtually any language supported by Excel and Google Sheets. Not only will this save users time from having to translate their message to fit the right format, but it will also prevent visual errors in their Posts.
Coming soon, downloads from other modules will default to UTF-8 will help clean up files and present them as intended.
Users now can have twice as many distinct Automation recipes as before, as we doubled the limit from 25 to 50.
The Automation Center is a great feature for Users to be able to automatically assign and/or notify team members when certain triggers occur. These triggers can be new reviews, new Google Q&A's, and more. Automations allow for teams to be up to date and more efficient within their workflows.
Previously, there was a cap of 25 Automations that could run at the same time. We have doubled that to allow for up to 50 Automations to run simultaneously! There is still no cap as to the number of times these automations are triggered. This enhancement allows for an even more automated experience for our Users.
Automation reporting is coming soon, where Admins will be able to see statistics on their existing automations.
