Updated Workflow to Hiding Locations

Summary:

We have moved the ability to hide locations in LocalClarity to the Settings tab to provide a centralized destination for this workflow. This will provide better visibility of the connectivity status of your listings and will allow you to hide and unhide locations in bulk from a single destination.

Details:

Go to the Settings tab. Once loaded you can go to the upper right side of the page and select Location Controls. From there you are able to see all of the visible locations that were connected to your account. From there you can move Visible locations to Hidden ones by selecting the location in question and then clicking "Hide Locations". This removes the selected location(s) from all workflows in your profile until they are manually unhidden.

Time Stamp Updates

Summary

Reviews within the ReviewsInbox™ will now show an updated time stamp if the review was altered or updated after we received it. This time stamp will appear underneath the original time stamp of review receival, allowing clients to see when a review was posted and if/when it was changed.

Background

Reviews within the ReviewsInbox™ have historically presented with the date they were posted. However, with this update, if a user changes or alters their reviews in any way after its initial posting, LocalClarity will bring in that data and present the time stamp of when this change occurred. This will aid in decreasing data discrepancy, indicate if a change in response is needed, and give clients newfound insight into what is going on in their reviews.

Details

When a review is received in the ReviewsInbox™, LocalClarity will bring the review into the platform as we have historically done. Reviews are marked with a timestamp of when they are received, as seen below.

However, if the user who submitted their respective review changes any portion of the review (comment content or star rating) we will pull the new review into your ReviewsInbox™ and mark the review with an updated time stamp, indicating that this is not the original review that was pulled in and that at the time displayed, the review was altered in some format.

What's Next?

LocalClarity is thrilled to announce that we are working on releasing an update inclusive of our timeline project and the ability to search for updated reviews. Our timeline project will give users never before seen access into how their reviews are changing over time, the volume of reviews that are being altered (and how this connects to their responses), among more. Our search for updated reviews tool will allow users to filter their ReviewsInbox™ to search for any and all reviews that have been updated or altered, directly within the LocalClarity platform. We are excited to be offering this unique perspective on client data, and cannot wait to release these features.

Removed Review Identification and Marking

Summary

LocalClarity is thrilled to announce our most recent feature enhancement that is capable of automatically identifying and marking removed reviews.

Background

Historically, LocalClarity has not hosted a feature to automatically identify and mark removed reviews. This meant that when a review was deleted, the review count between your Google Business Listings and LocalClarity account could become unaligned. This presented a data issue and a need for LocalClarity to be able to identify and mark removed reviews within our system.

Details

LocalClarity can now automatically identify and mark removed reviews. LocalClarity will keep visibility of the removed review in your ReviewsInbox™. This will allow you to see which reviews were removed and when. Your data count can now be understood through total number of posted, visible reviews and total number of reviews (inclusive of those that have been removed or deleted, either by the reviewer or by Google).

What's Next

LocalClarity is excited to announce that we are working on, and hope to release soon, our timeline project and the ability to search for updated reviews. Please see our release update on time stamp dates for more information!

If you have any questions about this means for your total review count or data processing, please feel free to contact us at support@localclarity.com with any questions!

Location Mapping

Summary
Location mapping is now available directly in the platform interface (no more uploads required) to significantly improve initial set-up and ongoing maintenance for multi-source profiles.

Background
Mapping locations (pointing all reviews and listing sources to a single "parent" record) required a bulk file upload. Now all of this can be done by simply dragging and dropping the 'child' location with the applicable 'parent' location.

Details
In the Locations section, you will see a new top navigation bar. Go to the Mapping button. All Parent records are listed within the left panel, while any unmapped destination records will be listed on the right.

Simply open the Parent tab, and drag the Unmapped Destination from the right panel to the corresponding record in the left panel. This will create a unified listing detail across destination sources.

What's Next
Now that we have built the process to connect locations we will be adding more listing and review source options.

Short Comment Option - Intelligent Auto Response

Summary

We have added a third option to apply to your Intelligent Auto Response Campaigns that will allow you to reply to reviews with a short comment length auto-magically!

Background

Not all reviews need a lengthy response to express their appreciation for leaving a review. Previously the only review content options were for reviews with Ratings Only and Rating + Comment. Per our client's request, we decided to offer a third option to accommodate reviews that were in the middle between being a comment, and not long enough to trigger a lengthy reply.

Details

This enhancement will enable you to create short templated responses that are focused on giving a quick message to a client who left a review with minimal characters.  Set the character limit to which reviews can be replied to by the Auto-Response Campaign. The default will be a limit of 20 characters but has a maximum of 100. Now you can have Auto-Response Campaigns designed to cover reviews of various lengths.
