Now that you have the base funnel, create the offers you want to be made to most customers who place orders in your store.

Remember that your base funnel will be offered to customers if no funnels above it have caught their order. So create an offer you believe a wide variety of customers will want, and be sure to offer products for which you plan to have plenty of inventory!

After creating a funnel, it's time to create your offers!

Create Your Offers

Now it’s time to create your offers! You can add up to two. ✌️

  1. First, click “Add Offer”
  2. Choose which product you would like to offer (only one product per offer can be selected at this time)
    1. NOTE: If you are having trouble finding what you're looking for, search by full product name or ID
  3. Limit your offer to only specific product variants if you want

Want to offer a specific product based upon whether or not your customer accepts or declines the first offer? Your wish is our command. You can now offer an upsell/cross-sell when the first offer is accepted, or a downsell if the first offer is declined. Here are the options:

a) Display a different second offer based on if the first offer was accepted or declined
b) Display the same second offer based on if the first offer was accepted or declined
c) Only display a second offer if the first offer was accepted
d) Only display a second offer if the first offer was declined

Variants

When selecting funnel criteria, you can choose to only trigger offers when certain variants of your products are in/not in the cart.

Use Case Example: Want to offer a set of white satin pillowcases any time a customer purchases white satin sheets? Offering a relevant product based on the initial purchase has shown to increase offer conversions.

You can also limit the offer to only specific product variants.
Use Case Example: Do you have a surplus of small red t-shirts? Now you can offer them at a hefty discount to move that inventory!

Start by selecting your product for your funnel criteria or offer.

Select "Limit to variant(s)" to choose your variants. Note: If you do not limit to variant(s) all product variants will be included in your funnel criteria or offer.

Select the variant combinations for your funnel criteria or offer. You must select at least one from each variant category and that combination must be a valid product configured in your Shopify Product settings. Once you're done, click "Select".

If you are only offering one variant of your product, you can choose to hide the variant selector completely on the offer page. Go to your Offer Editor, click on Variants, then mark the checkbox next to "Hide variant selectors on offer."

Display: Hide the offer if the product was in the initial order or when a selected variant was in the initial order

Pricing: Select the price for your offer (use original price (default), amount off (per unit), or percentage off)

Quantity: Limit the quantity of the product, only offer a set quantity, or allow any quantity.

Shipping: Select how much you want to charge for shipping for your offer (free shipping or flat rate shipping)

Offer Design

Feel free to use the drag-and-drop editor to design your offer page. You can customize different components on your offer by clicking on the pencil icon, drag to the bottom to remove it, and even add more custom sections such as images, additional text areas, etc.

There are a few offer components that cannot be removed as they are critical to a great post-purchase offer — Offer Buttons, Product Details, Product Image, Quantity and Variants, and Pricing Breakdown.

For the elements that you can remove, simply drag and drop them for deletion toward the bottom of your list.

After using the pencil icon to edit the Offer Title or Product Details, you’ll have the ability to format the text’s size and justification, and to set it bold.

You can also click those elements directly in the offer to edit them!

Did you know that our data shows over 70% of shoppers check out on mobile?
You can easily preview your offer for mobile on the design page. Just click the icon on the top right of the design area to view on both desktop and mobile.

When editing the Offer Buttons section, they can be oriented side-by-side or vertically as well!

Supported file types for custom image uploads are jpeg, jpg, and png up to 1MB in size. Please note that if your store has over 5,000 products, you must search by the full product name or product ID.

Don't forget to save your offers once you are done!

Offer Page Styles

Post-purchase offer pages will inherit your store's checkout style, colors, fonts, etc. Feel free to visit this help article to learn more about how to customize your post-purchase offer pages' style.

Looking for some tips on how to get your offers looking terrific? We've got you covered!

Quantity Settings

Want to make sure your customer purchases a specific quantity of the post-purchase product? Make sure to choose “no” in your Offer Settings under Quantity. Then, choose how many they’ll need to purchase to complete their order!

In the screenshot below, we’re making sure the customer purchases three Aglaonema plants - no more, no less!

Or, do you want to limit your customer to the number of products they can purchase? Make sure to choose “yes” in your Offer Settings under Quantity. Then, choose the maximum quantity they can purchase.

In the screenshot below, we’ve limited the quantity to five, so the customer can purchase up to five Aglaonema plants.

You can also choose not to limit the quantity by leaving the Limit Quantity box unchecked. Your customer can purchase as many items as they like. If it’s in stock, they can purchase it!

Copy An Offer

Did you create an amazing offer for your funnel and want to copy the offer to keep the settings and design, but change the product for your second offer? We’ve got you covered!

Offers can be copied exactly as is, including the product, or you can change the product. Keep in mind that after copying, only the settings and design can be changed, not the product.

Here’s how:

a) Click manage offers or the pencil icon next to your first offer

b) Click the + sign by accept or decline

c) Click copy my first offer

d) Change the product on the offer you are copying (optional)

Multi-Language Translation

Offers can be translated for French, German, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Czech and Portuguese stores as long as they are set up in your Shopify Settings > Store languages.

Insert your own translated copy on offer text components (found in Offer Design) and we’ll take care of the rest of the offer translation (button text, timer text, etc.).

When you see "missing translated content" it means that you still need to add a translated copy of the offer text components.

Please note,  multi-currency is still not supported by Shopify at this time but stay tuned for more updates!

You can preview your offer in the languages of your choice before you publish. In the top right section of the offer page, select your language. In the screenshot below, you can see that English and Spanish are the two available options.

Preview Your Offer

🛑 One last thing! Don’t forget to preview and publish. We also recommend you place a test purchase to see how the offers will display live on your checkout. 🛑

If you edited your offer pages' color scheme in your theme's settings (per the Offer Page Styles page), then you will need to create a test purchase to see the color scheme in effect.
