Performance Section Update

Summary

In our latest performance update, we are aligning with Google's terminology shift by transitioning the naming of our "Insights" module into what will now be known as our "Performance" module. This change is reflected across our platform and reporting. We are also cleaning up Performance by removing outdated section data that includes deprecated data points retired by Google in February 2023.

Background

This performance update underscores our commitment to staying in sync with Google's terminology and data metrics.

Details

Terminology
We're embracing Google's lead by adopting the term "Performance" in place of "Insights." This ensures consistency and alignment with industry terminology.

Data Removal
To enhance reporting accuracy and relevance, we are purging all data tied to deprecated metrics Google retired in February of 2023. This streamlining will help present a clearer and more relevant performance overview.

Reporting
Our reporting updates will now mirror the updated platform displays, including language and data cleanup.

What's Next

In the coming months we will be releasing a number of enhancements that provide all users with an improved data management experience. If you have any further questions or require assistance, please don't hesitate to contact us at support@localclarity.com.

Automation Triggers for Images & Videos

Summary

Our Automation Center has been updated to include target options for new images and videos uploaded by the public to Google Business profiles. With this release, users can create a recipe to receive real time notifications stating, "A new public media asset has been uploaded to {location}." This enhancement aims to streamline media asset management and ensure your team is aware of the latest content shared to your Google Business Profile locations.

Background

LocalClarity automated workflows have already saved clients thousands upon thousands of hours, so we were thrilled to receive a feature request to include a filter for any new media assets shared to Google Business Profile. Brands can now distribute new image email notices to specific teams or even individual store managers.

Details

The Automation Center is accessed from either the ReviewsInbox (upper right button) or from the Setting menu. Triggering the recipe builder will present the options for building the right combination of targets, filters and actions.

This latest update adds "public media" to the initial target list. Users can then take advantage of the full filter set and the action option of sending a notification email to any profile users. The email contains the full locations details plus a thumbnail image or video link. Email recipients can then click into LocalClarity for more controls or to jump directly to the media asset on Google.

The enhancement works with both real-time notices (via pub/sub network) and overnight API pulls to initiate the email notices.

What's Next

We have a couple of upcoming enhancements that will make this enhancement even more impactful. First, we are adding the concept of non-user Contacts to the LocalClarity platform. This will allow users to trigger all automation notices to any stakeholders. Second, we're changing the notification fields to multi-select to make it easier manage automation recipes for large teams. Finally, we're hoping to incorporate AI into the image workflow so that brands can "read" the image content and choose to trigger notification based on the elements contained in the photo. As always, your feedback is essential in shaping our product roadmap, and we look forward to hearing your thoughts on these updates!

AI Update for Sentiment Analysis

Summary

Our latest update introduces powerful AI enhancements that bring significant improvements to Sentiment Analysis on our platform. By leveraging OpenAI, we have implemented new processes for comprehensive language analysis of all reviews, enabling valuable insights into Sentiment and Emotional analysis. We have also expanded control options, allowing users to select the language of topic identification according to their preferences for consistent reporting.

Background

Recognizing the importance of Sentiment Analysis in understanding customer feedback, we have been working to enhance this feature by taking advantage of new capabilities offered by OpenAI to receive more structured and consistent responses.

Details

New Backend Prompt Workflows: LocalClarity now works with OpenAI in a threaded prompt-response structure that allows us to lock in the form and structure of the topic identification, sentiment scoring, and emotion detection.

Multi-Lingual Topic Identification: This new approach allows for most consistent control over the language of the AI-determined topics identified in each review comment block. Clients with reviews in multiple languages can now see more language consistent topic and sentiment labeling (e.g. English reviews will have English topics and sentiment while Portuguese reviews will have Portuguese classification).

Language Controls: We also understand that sometimes clients will need to aggregate topics into a single language for universal reporting. A new control has been added to Review Settings allowing Admins to select the language for Sentiment analysis.

What's Next

Our commitment to enhancing Sentiment Analysis doesn't stop here. We are busy working on in-platform aggregate reporting for Sentiment Analysis, but in the meantime we would be happy to provide custom reporting. Reach out to your Client Success representative or email us at support@localclarity.com and we will work to provide you with initial reporting for your profile. Stay tuned!
