Automation Center - Geography Triggers

Summary
All users can now create automation recipes with the location geography as a trigger.

Background
We continue to build powerful options into our industry-leading Automation Center. Prior to this update, users would need to create a custom group to trigger actions for locations within geographic boundaries.

Details
Built directly into the Automation recipe builder, users can select a geographic decision tree to apply actions. The trigger can be set as broad as by country and as specific as by City.

Please note that the Service Area Businesses (SABs) do not have full addresses by default. To use a geographic trigger, these businesses would need to have a master address record.

What's Next
Even within a geographic region, there can be a high degree of language variability in customer review content. We are actively working on launching a language detection trigger option.

Automation Center Workflows

Summary
We are thrilled to announce the release of our entirely new Automation Center. Brands and agencies can now build fully customized workflows.

Background
Each business entity has its own unique needs for organizing data, assigning tasks, and getting critical details to the right people at the right time. Today’s release elevates LocalClarity’s ability to do all three. Brands and agencies can now build truly unique “recipes” across an ever-expanding set of parameters to operate more efficiently — and competitively - than ever before.

Details
In the ReviewsInbox, users can now see an “Automate” button in the upper right corner. Clicking this button presents a full-page overlay of the new Automation Center.

Users can manage existing recipes or create new ones. Each recipe consists of a set of possible Triggers and Actions.

Current Triggers include:

  • account (the connection GBP or other account)
  • source (Google, Facebook, Yelp, etc)
  • group (any custom entity group created)
  • comment (has comments, no comments, comment contains)
  • location (specific location)
  • star rating (equal, less than, greater than)
  • store code

Current Actions include:

  • assign a status (review status of "Needs Attention", etc)
  • notify (a user or contact of the new review)
  • assign a tag (any existing review #tag)
  • assign user (assign review to a specific user)

Next Steps
Over the course of the spring, we will be adding additional trigger and action items to provide even greater control of the entire communication system.

Ideas include:

  • Language identification to route review response management to specific agents
  • Group tags (&tags) that will make it easier to manage set tags that should be applied automatically
  • Agent team to manage large accounts
  • Tag reporting to identify themes and change over time
  • Bulk upload of recipes

Listing Image Management

Summary
Today, we launched an entirely new module of the LocalClarity platform, Image Management. Users now have unparalleled visibility and control of the visual media assets presented in their Google My Business profiles.

Background
Photos and videos serve as the cornerstone of every local listing’s visual presence in search. They draw the searcher’s attention, demonstrate physical location details, highlight offerings, and share social proof. Unfortunately, they can also inhibit customer acquisition when brand imagery is not optimized and public images are left unmoderated.

Details
The Image Management section provides several layers of enhanced visibility and control for all media assets presented to the public. The new module has three sections:

  • Brand - View all images uploaded to Google by the business. Search and filter to identify the exact images driving customer engagement. Use the new controls to directly delete images or add metadata (#tags) to organize the content.
  • Public - See all photos and videos currently shared by the public in local search results. Use the new controls to request image removal and track the status of removal requests. Explore which public images are being elevated by Google over brand images in search results.

Next Steps
This is just the first release. Users can expect to see the following updates in the coming months.

  • Enhance filtering by image classification or #tag.
  • Ability to bulk upload images with assigned #tags.
  • Ability to delete brand images in bulk.
  • Visibility of media assets by individual location to confirm optimal presentation for all locations.
  • Additional image details, controls, and navigation to location listings and connected reviews.
  • Additional reporting for media views by classification or #tag.

Google Suggested Edits Notifications

Summary
Users can now trigger a check for new Google location suggestions (up to 3 times daily).

Background
Google maintains two different sets of location listing data for all businesses:

  1. All of the data validated for your Google business Profile locations, and
  2. The data Google chooses to present public to searchers.

LocalClarity has built new functionality to give brands and agencies the ability to be notified when Google tries to present unverified data to the public from the following categories:

Business name

Categories

Hours (special and regular)

Holidays

Website

Phone number

Additional phone number

Address

Description

Attributes

Details
A new report optional is available that triggers a "suggestion audit". The platform reaches out to Google to determine if any new location details (location name, categories, attributes, phone numbers, hours, holidays, etc) are being presented in the public search results.

Users can set the exact cadence and time to check for public edits that need to be accepted or rejested.

Where
All users with full access to Settings > Report Management will be able to schedule new tiggers.

Next Steps
Different departments/users within an organization might need to be made away of different types of edits. Location name changes might go to the corporate team, while weekend hour updates my go directly to the location managers. We are working to add a control to one or more types of edits for a specific notification.
