All users now have direct visibility to the timeline and source details of each review, directly in the ReviewsInbox detail pane.
Each customer review has a full lifecycle, from initial receipt to internal assignment and processing workflows to response management to reporting & sentiment analysis. LocalClarity is expanding our already industry-leading review management capabilities by expanding the review meta data, starting with a complete creation timeline.
Looking at the review detail pane, users will now see a new icon in the upper right corner of the review card. Hovering over the timeline icon will present three sets of data. From the bottom up, LocalClarity presents the timestamp (UTC) of review’s creation as provided by the review source. Additionally, if activated, the window will show time of the review based on the location’s time zone.
The next section presents the current timestamp of the review. If this is different than the creation timestamp, this is an indication that the review has been updated by the user.
The top section presents insight as to the timing and method as to how the review was fetched into the LocalClarity platform. There are six different ways in which as review can be fetched:
Initial Fetch
Daily Scheduled Sync
Manual Individual Listing Sync
Manual Account Sync
Real Time
This release is just the first step towards our goal of providing clients with transparency to every steps in a review’s timeline, including access to all versions of a each review.

We have an additional set of QOL enhancements scheduled for early July. If you have any additional questions on these updates, please contact support@localclarity.com.
When creating Automations in LocalClarity, users can now select multiple users for a single automation.
While the Automation engine allowed for many different triggers and sequences, users had to make a new automation for every user to be notified. This would lead to the user having to go through the workflow each time, leaving all of the settings the same, but changing the recipient each time. Now this can all be done at once.
Notifying an entire team every time a trigger happens is now much easier and efficient. When creating a new automation, you can now multi-select users to receive the notification when the trigger occurs. For example, you could have five different users notified when a negative review is received. The increased scalability of this enhancement allows for users to keep their teams up to date.
We are constantly looking to add more capabilities to our automation engine, including utilizing AI in the near future.
Accessing historical reviews in LocalClarity is now even easier with a Date sort in the ReviewsInbox. Users can decide to sort reviews by Newest or Oldest Reviews.
While having the newest reviews visible makes sense for a review response workflow, sometimes it's important for users to access their oldest reviews as well. Previously, this required either changing the date range setting or manually sifting through the ReviewsInbox.
Located right next to Filters, the new Date Sort option allows users to select between Newest First and Oldest First. This could be crucial for a business just getting into review response that wants to start from the beginning of their inbox.
As we continue to enhance the ReviewsInbox, stay tuned for even more filters and enhancements.
Users can now trigger a full history audit of a Profile's entire Google listings set to validate the status of every single listing's review. This ensures the review counts and average in LocalClarity continue to match Google for even the most actively reviewed locations in the world.
LocalClarity is one of the few services that automatically re-checks customer reviews to identify duplicated, updated and deleted reviews, exploring the most recent 500 reviews per location monthly. While this functionally covers the entire review history for the majority of locations, it didn't validate every historic review for particularly high-volume listings.
In addition to the monthly review audit, LocalClarity users can now run a manual Review Validation Audit to ensure their review counts match Google precisely. Updated reviews receive the new content (along with an updated timestamp) while removed reviews are tagged in the ReviewsInbox and removed from KPI reporting.
We continue to enhance our already industry-leading ReviewsInbox with customize controls. are excited to continue offering comprehensive review details and plan to release full review update transparency soon!
