We're thrilled to continue to increase your team productivity by offering an entirely new workflow for OpenAI-generative review responses. Utilizing new features from OpenAI's ChatGPT, we are excited to put the power of generative AI directly into your daily workflows.
As with all LocalClarity major enhancements, we are focused on solving our client's most challenging issues. In this case, we're leveraging emerging technology to dramatically enhance team productivity for brands and expand service offerings for agencies. This is just the first of many workflow based enhancements we'll be launching this year to put an even more powerful toolset into your hands.
Direct ChatGPT Connection
Our OpenAI-generated review response is a powerful tool addition to our review response workflow and ReviewsInbox. Our generated review responses are personalized, including a reviewer's first name, and respond in the same language as the review. We hope that this addition to the already personalized and unique OpenAI response will allow businesses to connect with their clients in the best way possible.
Manage AI Tone of Voice
Additionally, we've added a new section called "Manage AI Tone" to the platform's settings. This feature enables clients to create Tone of Voice Statements for each of their location groups, making it easier to respond to different types of reviews across brands. It ensures consistency in responses by allowing clients to assign a tone to one or more existing groups.
Set Tone by Review Star
We've made it even easier for our clients to craft their own Voice and Style Guide by sourcing it directly from the OpenAI platform as a profile-level preference. A new "Tone of Voice" trigger has also been added, which can be assigned to one or more existing groups. This enables a group to have only one tone.
Control Tone by Custom Group
Additional controls are available to set a custom set of tones by star rating for custom groups created in the LocalClarity platform. This allows profiles supporting multiple brands or agency accounts to automatically present a review reply with a spot-on tone of voice.
Click to Generate - Click to Post
Simply click on the AI Response button to generate a reply that matches the content of the review with your brand voice. If everything looks good, you can click Post. You always have the option of editing the response directly or even clicking Regenerate to be presented with a different option.
Automatically Multi-Lingual
The primary language of each customer comment block is first identified and then used by the platform to automatically create an on-brand and tone appropriate response in the same language.
Language Limitations (so far)
The model is capable of "reading" reviews and composing responses in most languages based on the Latin alphabet character set (English, all romance, Germanic, Slavic, Kurdish, Baltic, Vietnamese, etc). It can "read" languages with other alphabet structures (Japanese, Chinese, Arabic, Hebrew, etc) but returns a response in English. We will be working to expand platform capabilities further directly and with the evolution of OpenAI's capabilities.
What's Next
The next update will be geared towards users who need to translate the proposed AI-generated review responses. The following update will be an expansion of the Intelligent Review Response capabilities to offer turn-key review management for brands looking for a fully automated solution (maybe just for positive reviews). And after that... who knows.
LocalClarity is proud to announce a rebuilt review response workflow, designed to support our newest capabilities for businesses and agencies alike.
Historically, LocalClarity presented a distinct workflow for authorized review connections (Google, Facebook, Trustpilot, etc) and indexed review (sources that require a public index from a third-party review platform like Yelp). While this wasn't a challenge for users in the past, a split workflow would prevent users from taking full advantage of the new generative AI review response capabilities for indexed reviews. This update provides a unified experience all the way up to the final posting of the response.
The new approach unifies the initial response workflow for all review sources, making all tools (generative AI, Explore!, and templates) available in the review composition process. Users can then either directly post for authorized connections or click out to post on third-party destinations. This approach aims to make the review response workflow more efficient and effective.
While this update helps to unify workflows, what we really need is for more popular review platforms to support a direct connection. We will be reaching out to a select group of brands to see if we might be able to participate in a joint development effort.

Agencies can now directly control the email notices for new users and new profiles created in their white-label instances.
White-label account users with SuperAdmin access can now select from a drop-down of SuperAdmins or insert additional email addresses when choosing who receives new user and new profile notifications from the platform. This update is designed to enhance efficiency and streamline workflows for our white label clients, making it easier than ever to stay on top of your important notifications and get them to those who need them.
We are especially excited to offer this update so that our white-label clients can now share specific notifications, connect to messaging systems such as Slack, or build Zapier integrations with ease.
If you are interested in customizing this section of your white label domain, navigate to your administrator tab and select "Domain Controls" on your left side menu. Scroll down to find the section shown below, and make edits directly in the platform:
We are excited to continue expanding SuperAdmin capabilities for full customization of white label domains.

Background:
LocalClarity's Location features have long allowed customers to access integral information for their listings. Connections, groups, and average review score (as well as review count) were, and continue to be, displayed for easy metrics visibility.
We saw a need to give users even more control of their LocalClarity experience and platform, and are thrilled to roll out new updates to our Locations tab under our new listing edit table. This update will bring about a cleaner user experience with increased user control.
Details:
Our listing edit table is now available within our Locations tab. Select from list, table, or Google only toggle views on the upper right hand side of your table view. Table view (selected middle icon) will show every location (both parent record and source records), present users with a variety of filters (which can be expanded or compacted), new filters of "Source, City, State, and Country," and search functionality.
Our Google Only view allows you to see all of your Google Business Profiles in one clean table view. Quickly and easily see your stores status, number of Google reviews, and make edits, post photos and posts, and expand to see more details from one centralized page.
