Troubleshooting the "Missing 404 Template" error that appears on the dashboard after you publish an Online Store 2.0 theme.

For Online Store 1.0 themes, Easy Redirects installs automatically with no action required by merchants. If you change to another OS1 theme, the installation status will be unaffected.

 

Online Store 2.0 themes have a slightly different file structure, so the automatic installation process times out. This results in a "Missing 404 Template" error on your dashboard when you publish an OS2 theme. This prevents your redirect patterns and 404 monitoring from working.
