We have a new batch of improvements that will make navigating charts and drawing on them easier:

• Most drawing tools in Charts now include opacity slider
• Most drawing tools in Charts now cast "shadow" on both axis for precise price and time
• Calendar tab in Manual Backtester now has an option to start week from Monday or Sunday
• Charts now have a quick viewport options trough multiple Timeframes (1D ~ YTD, see bottom left of chart)
• Charts now include buttons to quickly navigate set viewport either to most recent candle, or specific date
• Manual Backtester now includes buttons to quickly move the "current candle" either to specific date (backwards or forwards) or to the last available one (bottom right under the chart)

At the moment we have a few more Manual Backtester focused updates coming your way.

Hello traders,

More improvements are coming your way to help you breeze through the platform in your pursuit of backtesting or live trading. Again we're looking at many small and significant improvements of the Manual Backtester as well. 

The full list for today is:

1. Navigation:

• new navigation in menu for Live Trading and Backtesting, branching into subcategory choice for Smart, Instant, Manual etc.
• Manual Backtester bottom panel now offers Full Screen Button

2. Manual Backtester: Charts

• In all charts, most drawings can be duplicated by holding CTRL (or Command) and dragging (excluding dragging by core vertices, as moving them while holding CTRL activates magnet tool)
• In all charts, most drawings can be moved by arrows
• Chart menu is now scrollable on smaller screens, or when shrank manually
• Chart menu now contains categories for some drawing tools, as we keep adding tools
• all tools in Chart menu now have description when you hover above them
• updated icon of Free Draw tool in Chart
• several improvements to Text tool in Chart
• new shortcut in Manual Backtester - ESC now also clears current position (same as Alt+T)

Big update in making things easier for you: implemented keyboard shortcuts for navigating charts, position quantities can be persistent in Manual Backtester and we added drawing tools while improving details around the current ones.

The details look like this:

1. Position quantity settings:

• position quantity settings are now persistent in Manual Backtesting when creating new position from the previous one

2. Charts and drawing:

• chart drawing tools style settings are now persistent across all charts from previous style used in concrete drawing type (line, square etc.)
• new drawing tool - Text was added, that allows creating text box in chart

3. Keyboard shortcuts:

• shortcuts added in Manual Backtester:
  • Space bar - play/stop candle player
  • Left and right arrows to rewind back/forward by one candle
  • up and down arrows to increase/decrease candle player speed
  • Alt+S - save backtest
  • Alt+T - toggle long/short position
  • Alt+R - clear active position

4. Other:

• video player size in Resources page is dynamic based on screen/window size

This should start shaping our vision for the convenience of Manual Backtesting - we'll keep adding improvements and features.

We just released a sizable update that increases the number of available indicators in the platform across every feature. Most drawing tools also contain a lot more options now. To summarize: 

1. New indicators added:

• New indicators: AD (Accumulation Distribution), AD Oscillator, ADX (Average Directional Index), APO (Absolute Price Osc.), Aroon Oscilator, ATR (Average True Range), CCI (Commodity Channel Index), CMO (Chande Momentum Osc.), DPO (Detrended Price Osc.), Mass Index, Mementum, MFI (Money Flow Index), Maximum, Minimum, NATR (Normalized ATR), ROC (Rate of Change), ROCP (ROC Percentage), ROCR (ROC Ratio), STD (Standard Deviation), Sum, TRIX (Triple Smooth EMA), WILR (Williams Percent R)
• new "free drawing" brush tool for charts (icon will be updated)
• most drawing tools now have additional settings for line thickness and line type (solid, dashed, dotted)

We're really excited to see the platform being used in new ways with all these additions and have plenty more in store.
