The most common reasons your Back in Stock notifications are not sending and how to fix this.

NOTE: If you have changed or added variants before trying to send emails, you may encounter an issue with sending notifications. If this is the case, contact our support team, and we'll be able to help you.

Otherwise, there's a few quick steps to follow to figure out why your notifications might not be sending:

1. Check the Notifications page in your app to see if any notifications have been sent.

If our servers are experiencing high traffic, it can take 1-4 hours for your notifications to be sent.

2. Make sure the product you want to send notifications for has an inventory level greater than 0.

If you have automatic notifications enabled and have just set an inventory level greater than 0, please allow 1-2 hours for the app to automatically perform this check and trigger notifications. Then see if your notifications have been sent.

If automatic notifications are disabled, you will have to trigger notifications manually after setting an inventory level greater than 0.

3. Enable automatic notifications.

If this feature is disabled, your back in stock alerts will not be sent automatically when you restock a product's inventory. Alternatively, you can follow this guide to trigger notifications:

  • In your app, go to the Settings page.

  • Navigate to Delivery Policies at the top of the page.

  • If the text says Automatic notifications are disabled, click on Enable.

4. Have you enabled "continue to sell when a product is out of stock" on Shopify?

If you have, your Back in Stock notifications will not send until your inventory level is greater than 0.
