Subscription + billing is based on recurring monthly charges and is based on merchants’ current Shopify store plan for each store. Prices variate from 4.90$ to 19.90$ with annual plans available. All the payments are regulated by Shopify Inc. payment regulations. Every plan has an annual plan payment option available, it consists of 1 yearly payment, with discounted price where the merchant pays for 10 months and gets 2 months free. There are 4 main plans available: Basic, Shopify, Advanced, and Shopify+. All the plans have the same features, which include: Transaction fees, Subscriptions, Email notifications, and Dashboard analytics. Advance reporting and 24x7 support.

About billing

If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data, and it is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as necessary to complete your purchase transaction, and your purchase transaction information is deleted after that is complete. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
