Today we are happy to announce that we are releasing a few updates to your Product Options app. So what’s new?

• Move products between Option Sets

You no longer have to manually delete products from option sets in order to assign them to the new one. Next to the “Delete”, you can now find “Move to other option set” button which makes that process super easy. Check out our short video to learn more.

• Assign Options Sets based on Product type/tag/vendor

You can select a particular tag/type/vendor within the options set, and every time a new product is added with that property, it will automatically consider that product with the existing options set.

Add thousands of products and, with just one product parameter’s condition, the options set will be auto-assigned to all the products.

• Hide/Show particular options for specific types of customers

This feature is used when you want to show your option to a specific group of people. You can add a customer tag to our option set and these options will only be visible to those customers who are logged in merchant’s store and they have that customer tag. Without login and customer tag, these options won’t be able for other store visitors.

• Weight Parameter in Options

Some of your additional product options are also physical products. Those additions to the original product also carry a certain weight. That means that filling out the shipping profile can be an issue.
Well, not anymore. The Hulk Product Options now offers merchants to assign specific weight to all product options. This weight will be calculated together with the primary product weight and verified by Shopify.
