Some brokers play a "market bell" at the open and the close. 

But not all brokers do. So we thought it would be fun to implement this in PowerX Optimizer. 

This way you will never miss the open and close again :-) 

You will find this feature under SETTINGS.
It's turned off by default since we don't want to shock you - LOL

So if you like this, you need to turn it on manually.

You will find it in on the right hand side in your Trading Hub. 

Here's how to use it:
Ask your question, and then click on the Magic 8 Ball to shake it.
And the Magic 8 Ball will give you the answer!

Important: Please understand that this is a fun gag.
But who knows: Maybe you'll get the answer you need to make a decision! :-) 

We now show whether the market is OPEN, CLOSED or HOLIDAY in the data window. 

This way you always know when to trade and when to sit back and relax. 

We re-designed the "Hamburger Menu" on the left hand side to make it easier to find the things you need!

We implemented more formatting options for the Trading Plan section so that you can make your trading plan extra pretty 😀

We fixed a few minor things. Nothing major, just some stuff we always wanted to fix:

• Dividends Yield: Updated algorithm to identify when to show/hide it.
• Internal error processing algorithm was updated to catch and process system errors automatically without user interactions.
• Some corrections for the user interface based on our new and extended error tracking tool

When you select a symbol through your watchlist or type in the symbol in search, you will now see more strike prices displayed - as long as the ROI meets the criteria you set in the filter. 

This will become more important as we possibly transition back into a bull market because it gives you more opportunities. 

And it will allow you to pick "ATM Strike Prices" - a very aggressive variation of the Wheel Strategy that some traders like to trade. 

We decided to change the Earnings Analysis Tool from "1-Day Move" to "Overnight Move".

Here's the difference and why we did it:

The 1-day move measured the move from the closing price before earnings to the closing price after earnings. 

The "Overnight Move" is measuring the move from the closing price before earnings to the opening price after earnings. 

We believe that THIS is a more accurate measure and will help traders who are trading straddles, strangles and other trading strategies around earnings.

Volume indicator: Save and restore volume status was applied. 

Now you can remove/add or show/hide it, and whatever you choose to do will be saved. 

This was on our list of "things we should fix":

When you selected a symbol, sometimes the price bars were extremely close to the price axis. 

This has been fixed and it's now even easier to read the chart 😀

We optimized the algorithm to calculate trade length for reporting purposes.

Right now, this is only done in the backend, but it will help to display the trade length in the upcoming releases. 

A small bug fix:

In the Trading Plan, selected content disappeared if you moved mouse outside the box.

This has been fixed.

Some of our users are using very weird screen resolutions!

Anyhow, we made some improvements to the alignments of the columns of the "Summary Section" so that it looks ALWAYS good - even on "weird" resolutions. 

The Trading Log is now available for all users!   

You can easily access it through the top navigation or the "Hamburger Menu"

Please keep in mind that we are constantly improving the trading log. 

The next step is to provide you with more statistics on your trades. 

And sometime in 2023, we will also provide export functionality. 

When you entered a trade in the trading log, you can now display the cost basis and the break even on on the Wheel Chart.

• But you don't have to display it: You can select "do not show trades" for a particular symbol to omit it
• Active and Archived trades are included into the drop-down list
• You can show or hide Cost basis and/or Break even on a chart.
• The software automatically saves and restores recent user choices for each symbol individually
• It is automatically updated when you makes changes in the Trading Log

The trading log now supports fractions for quantities, so if you bought 1.4325 shares, you can now enter it. 

This is important when you re-invest dividends. 

We now support 6 digits after the comma. 

We are now displaying more data in the "Wheel Header". 

This way, you can see immediately the following:

• EPS of a symbol
• Market Cap
• Dividend Yield
• P/E Ratio and
• Next Earnings.

This will make it even easier for you to choose the best stocks to trade for "The Wheel". 

We removed the text from the "Expected Move" lines on the chart to make it less cluttered. 

We also added more color-coding for the 2 expirations to make it easier to recognize the expected move lines. 

We made a few enhancements to the "Trading Plan" section of PowerX Optimizer:

• Support up to 5,000 characters
• User may move tabs positions if there are many  
• New action ‘strikethrough’ was added

We added a "Trading Plan" section to the Trading Hub in PowerX Optimizer. This will allow you to enter your trading plan so that you KNOW what you should do instead of guessing.

As you know, a trading plan is critical for your success as a trader. And by adding it to PowerX Optimizer, we're one step closer to become a "one-stop shop" where you have all of the vital trading information in one place. 

We added the "Expected Move" based on the options' pricing and volatility.

This is a great tool to show you visually on the chart what moves options traders expecting in the underlying stock for this week's and next week's expiration.

You can easily toggle it on and off to display it on the chart:

And if the earning's release date of a stock is within 2 weeks, we show the expected move of the Earning's Analysis Tool:

We made several improvements to the Economic Calendar:

1. You can now see the next 4 weeks of economic events
2. When there are multiple events per day, they are now sorted by importance
3. All events are in Eastern Time (ET), and we now show the current ET time on the calendar so that you know when the next release will happen. 

Previously, only holidays when markets are completely closed were displayed on the Holiday Calendar. 

Now we added "Early Closes" like on November 25, 2022 ("Black Friday") to the calendar as well.

The team also eansured that on those days, the Wheel Scanner also stops running after the "Early Close"

We added a few more awesome features and improvements to the Trading Log. 

Note: Right now, the Trading Log is in Beta Testing for Mastermind Members only.
We plan to release the trading log to everybody by the end of the year.

• Date range validation: We now check the date to avoid adding wrong or invalid dates.
  
  
  
• Filter Function: Search finds symbols that START with the entered chars instead of including them.
  Example: in the past, the search "BA" would have brought up symbols like "BA", "BAC" and "AMBA".
  Now it only shows "BA" and "BAC". 
  
  

We fixed a few bugs, e.g. 

• Wheel Earnings: If the earnings are "before market open", we now display the next earnings date instead of "0 days" to next earnings.
  
  
• Change password: We found a bug that affected less than 1% of users when updating the password. This has been fixed. 
  
  
• The "D", E", and "S" circles for Dividends, Earnings and Splits are now displayed on top of indicator for better visibility:
