We already had 3 options for the "Min Strike Price"

  • At Lowest Indicator
  • Below Lowest Indicator
  • All Strikes

We now added a 4th option:

  • At or Below Lowest Indicator

This will make it even easier to find the right stocks for the Wheel Strategy.

Min Stock Price Now $10 (was $15)

We had some traders asking for a lower stock price, so we lowered the min stock price from $15 to $10.

New Sort Order For Stocks: US Before Canadian

In the past, when you entered a symbol, e.g. AAPL, the system first picked the Canadian stock and THEN displayed the US symbol.

Since most of our users are trading US stocks, this was a little bit annoying.

So we fixed it.

Now you will see the US symbol first and THEN the Canadian symbol.

Custom Indicator Settings Are Now Saved

In Version 2.8.0, we added the possibility of displaying standard indicators on the charts.

However, when you changed the setting to some custom settings, these settings weren't saved.

With this release, the custom VALUES are now saved.

The custom VISUAL SETTINGS - such as colors, line widths, transparency, etc - are not saved/restored (yet).

We are working on the visual settings and hope to have it resolved soon.

PowerX Strategy: P&L Chart Fixed

When you selected "1 year" for the chart period, the P&L Chart was only calculated for this 1 year instead of the standard 2 years.

This had no impact on the functionality or the performance data of the PowerX Strategy.

It was a visual bug and has been fixed.

In Version 2.8.0, we introduce 3 years of data so that you can look further back.

5 years of data is available for both the PowerX and the Wheel Scanner.

For the PowerX Scanner, we are still calculating the performance data for 2 years - same as always.

Asset Correlation Tool

Mark and Markus always stress that you shouldn't trade highly correlated stocks.

As an example, if you already have Kohls (KSS) in your portfolio you shouldn't be trading Macys (M).

But how do you know which stocks are correlated?

Well, we are now offering a "stock correlation tool" in which you can display the correlation for up to 10 stocks for any period of time.

This way, you always know which stocks are highly correlated and which ones are not.

You can access the "Asset Correlation Tool" from the Wheel Scanner:

Clock With Different Time Zone

We added a clock to the lower right of the PowerX and Wheel Chart.

You can set this clock to any timezone you want. So if you are in Europe and would like to know what time it is in New York (Eastern Time), you can set that clock to ET.

This will not interfere with your computer clock settings. We just felt that sometimes it could be beneficial to know the time in Eastern Time or Central Time when trading.

This is available for both PowerX and Wheel Charts.

The settings are stored independently so please make sure that you set BOTH clocks to the time zone you want.

We just added another year so that you can see 3 years of data now.

This applies to both "The PowerX Scanner" and "The Wheel Scanner"

Important: We are still calculating the performance data for the PowerX Strategy for 2 years - as we have done in the past. The 3rd year of data is meant to be used for reference so that you see what happened in 2019.
