Single Column Blog Layout

Added a new Single Column Blog layout. Similar to other layouts, you can change to this layout directly from your dashboard.

I have also created a demo blog using this layout.

You can check it out at single-column-blog.mdx.one

Dark Mode

It would be cool if readers can switch to dark mode and light mode. Just a toggle button in the header or somewhere it doesn't take too much space.

Ability to add a complete logo

Until Now, you only had the possibility to upload a squared icon. So, your logo part looks something like “[Your_Square_Logo] Site Name”.

But with this update, you can now upload your complete logo. If you upload a full logo, then the Site Name will not be shown in the logo. If you only upload the square logo, the logo along with the name will be shown.

To add this, add a property called Full Logo in General Settings and upload your logo there.

Add Comments To Your Blog Posts (Cusdis integration)

Now, it is possible to add comments to your blog posts. They will be powered by Cusdis, an open-source, lightweight (~5kb gzipped), privacy-first alternative to Disqus.

Here is how you can add it to your blog.

  1. Create an account on cusdis.com.
  2. Add a website there and copy the id.
  3. Create a property called Cusdis ID in General Settings and add the above-copied id here.

That's it. A comments block will be added to the end of every blog post.

Few things to know about Cusdis:

  1. You will get to decide and approve/reject any of the comments before they appear on your post.
  2. You will also get email notifications and telegram notifications for new comments.
  3. You can approve/reply directly from your email/telegram.
