Added Web-forms widget

A feature that we have implemented into the intranet this week is the Web-forms widget.


The Web-forms widget allows for the user to add Webforms to a site section of their choosing. This allows for other users to be able to see Webforms without having to navigate to the app. For more information, please see our documentation:

WYSIWYG sticky toolbar

A new feature that we have implemented this week is in relation to the WYSIWYG toolbar.


This new feature has been implemented to help benefit users when creating content with the WYSIWYG. Now when a user is creating a long piece of content the WYSIWYG toolbar will remain hovering so that the user can have access to it at all times.

Add summary to group doc grid view and global search

Another feature that has been implemented this week is in relation to Groups.


Now when users add a summary to the Group post that they create for the Group they are a member of it will be visible to all users without having to select the group. This has been implemented to help users get a better understanding of what each group on the intranet is about to help save time from the user having to click on the group in order to see more information. Update group post dialog width size

We have implemented a fix this week in relation to Groups and more specifically a Group post.


The issue that has now been resolved is the width of the group post dialog. Before it was not to spec and did not achieve the desired outcome of how we want group posts to look on the intranet, in order to provider the user with a better visual view. This has now been implemented and can be seen in Groups on the intranet.

File view update actions display

This bug fix that has been implemented this week is in relation to the File view.


The fix that has been implemented is updating the actions display for both video and audio. Now the correct actions display when a user navigates to view and manage a file that is either a video file or an audio file.

Fix groups dialog behaviour

One of the fixes that we have implemented this week is the  'Edit group' issue that was occurring.


The issue that would occur was that when a user would click on an existing group then 'edit' group they would be able to see the group data. Then, if they closed and chose to edit the group for the second time they would be presented with empty fields.


This issue has now been resolved.

Content create/edit - issue

Another bug fix that we have implemented this week is in relation to the create/edit issue for creators.


The issue that was occurring was that when a user went to create a piece of content as a user with the creator role, and then they went to go to the options dropdown they were not able to see the option to edit or delete their own content. As a result of this a fix had to be implemented and it has now been resolved and can be seen across the intranet.

List widget display tab fix (fix for non MacOS screens)

A bug fix that we have implemented this week was in relation to the List widget.


The issue that was occurring was that when a user would add the List widget and then go to configure their different option on the RHS (Right Hand Side) then a horizontal scrollbar would be present. This fix has since been resolved and is no longer present on the intranet.

Table size for tables fails to save

One bug fix that we have resolved this week is in relation to tables and more specifically the ability to save them.


The issue that was occurring was that with the implementation of us adding new features to the WYSIWYG table such as merge cells and split cells; it was struggling to be saved on the intranet. However this issue has now been resolved and the WYSIWYG across the intranet is now working as expected.

Show feed badge in work bar

One of the new features that we have added this week to the intranet is the new feed badge.


Now when a user has a new feed message available they will now see a 'New' badge shown on the 'Feed' button. Please see the image below:


Once the user has navigated to the 'Feed' then the button will update and the 'New badge' will no longer be seen.

Unblock role grade component interaction

One feature that we have worked on implementing into the intranet this week is the 'Role Grade' component.


Now users are able to interact with the role grade component on the intranet. As a result this will be able to seen on the users profile's across the intranet.

Groups - ensure groups app uses new search queries

This week one of the features that we have implemented is ensuring the groups app uses the new search queries.


We have been updating the search queries across the intranet. One of the areas that has resulted in being updated is the 'Groups' app. Now instead of using the 'Contents () GQL query' we will be using the 'Search () Query' with content filters.

Global Search No Results

This week a feature that we have added to the intranet is in relation to search results.


Now as a user when you use the Search functionality on the intranet and no results are returned then you will be presented with Related Searches. This is in the hopes of making the user have a better intranet experience and assisting them with achieving their desired outcome.

Accessibility for Bar Chart

A feature that has been implemented this week is in relation to the horizontal bar chart on the intranet.


What we have focused on this week is improving the accessibility for the horizontal bar chart. As a result the bar chart now has alt text and can also be toggled into a table format as well. We have implemented this feature because here at Invotra we want to ensure that all users of the intranet have a seamless experience.

Custom Workflow - States in Content Management

A feature that we have implemented into the intranet this week is in relation to Content Management.


Now the filter drawer within the Content Management screen contains all the different workflow states. This is to help aid in filtering all the different content so that you can navigate to the desired content that you are looking for.

WYSIWYG - media dialog

One feature that has been implemented this week is in relation to the WYSIWYG again.


Now we have added the ability for users to seamlessly embed 'Rich media' into their content as well as have the ability to configure this media that has been embedded within the content. This feature has now been implemented and can be seen across the intranet.

Another feature that we have implemented this week is in relation to the 'User' profile screen


Now as a user when you navigate to your profile screen and choose to update it you will be able to add your 'Employment type'.

WYSIWYG expand collapse toolbar, mobile view, fullscreen mode fixes

One of the new features that we have implemented with the WYSIWYG this week is the ability to expand and collapse the toolbar.


Now as a user you will have the ability to both expand and collapse the WYSIWYG toolbar. By doing this it will help you to have access and visibly see all of the icons that are available to you as a user.

We have now added the ability for users to both create and update existing soft skills that they have in relation to their user profile.

Hide comments widget when disabled

One issue that we have resolved this week is in relation to the comments widget.


The issue that was occurring was that when a user added a comments widget to a template and then turned off the comments in the configuration tab they found that they still had the ability to comment which is not expected behaviour.


This issue has now been resolved and now when comments are disabled they will no longer appear.

A fix that has been implemented to the WYSIWYG this week is around the 'Clear formatting'


Now users when accessing the WYSIWYG will be able to 'Clear formatting' of content that has been inputted into the WYSIWYG of varying styles. This can now be removed with ease.

WYSIWYG anchor support spaces

Another fix that we have implemented into the intranet this week is in relation to the Anchor functionality in the WYSIWYG.


Before, when a user created a new anchor in the WYSIWYG and entered a multi word phrase for the title of the anchor along with the link for the anchor. Then when a user selects the anchor it does not redirect the user. This issue has now been resolved and has been implemented across the intranet.

Hide unpublished teams/locations

The issue that was occurring which has now been resolved was around unpublished teams and locations on the intranet.


When a team or location on the intranet is in the 'Unpublished' state then it should not be visible nor should return in search results for users. The problem that was occurring was that these unpublished teams and locations were still appearing. However this issue has now been resolved and is no longer occurring.

Fixed aspect ratio for gallery grid

A bug that was fixed this week was the aspect ratio for gallery grid.


The issue that was occurring was that the photos that were displaying were not to spec and were being displayed in various sizes resulting in an 'unclean' look. This issue has now been resolved and implemented across the intranet.

Content cards dimensions are not consistent for social apps

This week we have fixed the bug that was occurring with the content card dimensions.


The issue that was occurring was that when a user adds a large amount of content into the card then the dimensions would appear different when compared to a content card that only contained a small amount of content.

All content more link spacing

This week we have implemented a bug fix in relation to the 'All content' widget. The issue that was occurring is the spacing between the content that was being pulled through and the 'Show more' link had too little of padding.


As a result we had to implement a change in order to help achieve the users desired look of their intranet.

Use filename for widgets

Another issue that has been resolved this week is in relation to widgets and more specifically file names updating.


The issue that was occurring was that when a file has been renamed that is also appearing in a widget on the intranet then the widget would not update. As a result this could cause some confusion for users. This issue has now been resolved and is no longer occurring on the intranet.

Interactions widget comments scroll + like count

This week we have fixed an issue that was occurring with widgets on the intranet in relation to a user selecting the comments option.


Before the issue that was occurring was that when a user clicks on the comments button the page would not scroll down and redirect the user. This has now been amended and is working as expected on the intranet.
