Choose Shipment > List >  Profit & loss tab > Cost tab.

Step 1: Choose “Add New”.



Step 2: The page Add Credit Note will show up, explaining the fields below:

  • Recipient type (the one receiving the note): the system loads the default Provider, if you want to choose another recipient, you can select in the list: Customer; Custom. 

  • Select Provider: the system default loads the provider's name, if you want to choose another provider, choose in the list:                                              
  • Received Invoice #: The invoice number on the provider's debit.
  • Currency; 
  • Created Date: the Credit note's created date; Due Date: the deadline date
  • Payment Method.
  • Price detail: 

Case 1: If at the beginning of the Pricing tab the estimated price is made, then when making the Credit Note, it will automatically load the selling price, and you can add more, edit, or delete to get the actual price of the shipment.  


Case 2: If the price was not made in the Pricing tab before (No data), then click “Custom” to input the price manually.

  • Number Decimals (rounding the decimals):  Click (-) or (+) to increase or decrease, rounding to the decimal position which shows on the Credit note with the chosen currency. 

   

  • Exchange rate: Click “Change” to change the exchange rate 

  • Click “Use currency system exchange rate” to use the default exchange rate on the system (in Setting> Library> Exchange rate).
  • Attached Files: add attachment (if you need). 

  • Note: input the note (if you need)
  • Save: click "Save” to save and finish making the Credit Note.


Explaining the status of the Credit Note:

Pending: The credit note wasn't ready to make a Make Cost yet

Active: The credit note was ready to make a Make Cost
