Placing a live test order is the best way to see your live funnel in action. Here's how!


Place a Test Order


Once you have published and prioritized a funnel, we recommend placing a live test order to see the offer flow just as your shoppers will to ensure it is exactly as you want. Don’t forget to check out Shopify’s documentation for placing test orders as well!

*TIP: If you are placing a test order using a discount code, make sure the discount percentage is set to 99% instead of 100%. This is because the point of a post-purchase offer is to make it easy for the customer to add on items without needing to re-enter their payment information. If no payment information was entered, then the funnels will not appear as there will be no payment method to be charged to if the customer accepts the offer.


Follow the steps below to get started with placing a test order!



Choose a product you know will meet your funnel's criteria to trigger a post-purchase offer, and click “add to cart”



Enter your contact information, choose a delivery method, and enter your shipping address. Then, click “continue to shipping”

Enter all required info, then click “continue to payment”

Enter payment information, choose billing address, and click “pay now”

Success! You’ve completed your test order. The arrow shows that you’ve paid for the initial order, and you can click to go directly to the confirmation page. At the bottom, we’ve circled where your customer will accept or decline the post-purchase offers.
