When starting with CartHook, each user gets a 30-day trial period to test out the app. 

The pricing of the app is now dependent on the number of orders your store obtains per month + 0.5% of Revenue Generated by the App.

Billing


All billing for the CartHook Post Purchase Offers app is handled by the Shopify Billing department and will appear on your regular Shopify bill.

After your 15-day free trial, your monthly subscription and usage charges (if any) will begin. Usage charges are submitted daily, so you may see multiple line items on your Shopify bill.

When downloading the app, you will be asked to accept a maximum charge of $250 per month. You will not be charged $250 unless your store generates more than 10001 orders per month.

Example: If your store has 100 orders in month 1 and 550 orders in month 2, in month 1 your subscription charge would be $0 + 0.5% of Revenue Generated by the App and in month 2 your subscription charge would be $40 + 0.5% of Revenue Generated by the App.

Visit your Account tab in the CartHook Post Purchase Offers app to see billing history, access help, and much more.

You can also access your invoices and billing cycle date by navigating to Apps in your Shopify admin and clicking on About.

Select "View current invoice" to view your Post Purchase Offers plan and billing cycle date. On this tab, you also have the ability to view your invoices.


How is Revenue Generated by the App Calculated? 

Whenever an item is added to an order that originated from the Carthook widget, Carthook will charge 1% of the total order amount.  

Example: A customer has 3 items when checking out totalling $90. After checking out, they qualify for the Post Purchase Offer set up in the CartHook App. They accept that offer and spend a further $10. Their new cart total is $100. CartHook will charge 0.5% of the cart total which is $100, resulting in paying a further $0.5 above the monthly subscription charge already paid.


How do I cancel my account?


You can delete the app by going to Apps in your Shopify admin and clicking the little trash icon next to the app you want to remove. Deleting the app will cancel your subscription.

Once you delete the app, your account will not be billed for the next billing cycle of the app subscription.

A few things to note, the 15-day free trial will only be issued to a Shopify store once. If you cancel and reactivate after your trial has ended, you will not be eligible for an additional 15-day free trial. If you cancel your subscription mid-trial and reactivate, your remaining trial days will be reinstated for your account.

Example: Installs the app on the 1st of the month > deletes app on the 4th of the month > reinstalls on the 10th = 11 remaining trial days.
