Your personalized Selections Templates will help you save time when adding New Items in your Selections menu.
This option allows you to pre-save your own default values and easier manage your Project's Selections board:
Step-by-Step Guide on Creating Selections Templates:
Step 1: Create Your Selections Template
In your BuilderPad browser app, click on your Profile icon.
Then, go to Default Settings → Selections Templates.
Once in the Default Settings section, choose the Selections Templates option, and click on + Add Template.
Step 2: Edit Your Selections Template to Fit Your Needs
When creating a new template, you can choose the Add New option, which will create a new Selections Template from scratch, or Select from Library - which will pull from the list of your previous items that you have created and chosen to add to your Selections Library when working on specific Projects.
When adding a new Selections Template, you can add the following:
Cost Code
Item Location
Custom Options
Image
Item Name
URL (optional)
Amount (unit cost)
Quantity
Details/Specs (notes)
Attachments (up to 50 MB)
Step 3: Save Your Selections Template
That’s it! Just make sure to Save your new Selections Template and start using it in your Projects → Selections board immediately!
Open BuilderPad, head to Default Settings > Selections Templates, and create your first custom template today!
How to Import a Selections Template to your Project:
To import your new Selections Template into an existing Project's Selection board, simply open the project you wish to edit, then switch to the Selections board.
Once in the Selections board, you will find the Add New button, select it, then choose Import Template.
This way you can apply your new Selections template to the current Project's Selections you are working on.
