There are many fans of the Interactions Drawer, which surfaces the bits of knowledge your company generates every day - and always in the context of what you just selected. A few months ago, it got a new GenAI superpower - recapping the table entries as short, digestible text. 

And with that, grew its fan base by a magnitude - with one main demand: show it consistently across the entire app, including in the Feed.

With the latest system update, we deliver on this request. We too believe consistency is key to operational efficiency - also in operating Akooda. We will continue to roll out more interactivity to the interactions drawer, such that additional clicks that pop it open.

Taxonomies are used to group and organize the topics in your company data. At Akooda, we called them tags. 

Most platforms have a separate management system, requiring an admin to redo the work time and time again. At Akooda, our goal is to eliminate any duplicate or unnecessary work. 

That is why we’re thrilled to introduce our Tags sync mechanism, allowing customers to bring in their taxonomy from anywhere in the cloud - up to date around the clock.

While Akooda’s mission is delivering the right data, to the right people in the right format - there are situations where exporting information to a spreadsheet is helpful. 

Over the past few months, as we’ve worked to extend the limits of the digital footprint processed by Akooda and the post-processed insights, we've noticed users requesting larger and larger exports. Since we prepared the export "in-band," the browser has to wait until the file is ready - which can be frustrating at times. 

Now the Akooda table exports, regardless of size, are prepared behind the scenes and delivered straight to your inbox in CSV format. To find the export function head to the directory list pages and click on the respective button to kickoff the process in the background. 

More enhancements are coming up, such as notifying you in-app when the export is ready and sending the file as a time-restricted link. However, if you want to get the most out of the raw Akooda data, ask your CSM about the Akooda data APIs.

While Analysts and up have access to the data exploration page, allowing them to slice-and-dice interactions - the robust visualization and manipulation capabilities of industry-leading BI tools, such as Looker, Tableau, and alike, are incomparable. 

To help with this, we released our latest API endpoint - GET /interactions, designed to bring post-processed Akooda data to your own BI reports.

By integrating Akooda with such BI platforms via the API, data engineers can build a timeline of all company interactions from any source, understanding what happened, when, and by who - empowering business analysts can figure out the why.
