Too often, valuable insights are out of reach because extracting data is too tedious. That's why Akooda can automatically detect and surface events, allowing you to seamlessly scroll through all events at the click of a button, turning data into meaningful narratives.

To help personalize events and enable you to only see the events relevant to your organization, Akooda comes with a curated library of events that allows you to easily select the ones most applicable to your business.


Configuration Scope

Who will see what and when? 

Once added, events are populated throughout the platform and can be viewed by any user. However, only account admins have access to the events library itself and affect which events are added to the system.

Which events can I find in the Library?

Akooda's events library contains eight carefully crafted events of different types, with more events to be added in the future.

The events include:

  • Trending Topics: The daily attention given to a topic by a department (or the entire company) was unexpectedly low/high

  • Change in Attention: The weekly attention given to a topic by a department was significantly lower/greater than the previous month

  • Communication Flow: The daily communication volume between two departments was unexpectedly low/high

  • First Engagement: Someone in your company had an engagement with a new organization

  • Executive Leverage: An executive in your company has engaged with an organization for the first time

  • Last Engagement: There were no engagements with an organization for over a month

  • People Offboarded: A person from your organization was deactivated in all apps

  • People Onboarded: A new person was added to your organization


You can view the different events in the "Events" page under "Settings" > "Library". Additionally, you can request additional events from our support team and we will work together to make them available.


Managing Events

How do I manage the library?

As an account admin, you can go to the “Events” page  under your account settings to see which events are available in your company. If you wish to remove an event please contact our support team. However, please note that we recommend keeping all the events in the library.
